The film that killed a series, but revived my childhood. Today, I look back on
2007's iconic Spider-Man 3, and ask, was it really that bad?
This film had an incredibly complicated history, mainly due to disputes with the cast and studio.
Tobey Maguire, the actor who played the webhead himself, was considering leaving due to his lack of pay.
And Sam Raimi, the director, was infamously held back from his original vision
by producer Avi Arad. Looking back, the film is fine.
Not as good as it was when I first saw it, not as bad as it was when everyone talked about it.
The campyness, the wierd dance scenes, Bully-Peter's sheer existence, they actually enhance the film.
Overall, I give the film 4 Stars, I reccomend
